About The Fest
St. Meinrad Rocks Fest (initially named St. Meinrad Rocks Band Jam) was organized in 2011 in an effort to raise funds to complete the concrete pathway, flagpole, etc. for the St. Meinrad Paver Area, located near the Community Center. It has grown from a one-day indoor event to a two-day outdoor family-friendly fest, featuring a beer garden, vendor fair, two stages of music, and lots of great food!
Raddy and his band of characters were created by Marvin “Maddog” Ubelhor throughout the years!

Sassy Country
Sassy Country was born in the 80s when two sisters and their cousin began singing together in the car on the way home from a road trip. They liked the sound of their close family harmonies blending and bending those good old classic country tunes.
The band Sassy Country entertained audiences far and near throughout the 80s and 90s. They’ve shared the stage with many well-no artists, including the Kentucky Headhunters, The Gatlin Brothers, The Everly Brothers and many other Grand Ol Opry stars. Since then, Sassy Country took time off to raise their beautiful children, but are now back with their unique style of music, including classic country with some rock and a bit of bluegrass thrown in.
Sassy Country features Penny Hardman on lead guitar, Angela Masterson on bass guitar, Gala Leibering on rhythm guitar and keyboards, and Larry Hardman on drums. They love making music for their many fans and meeting new fans wherever they perform. Come join the fun and get sassy with Sassy Country!
